80.9% of St. Louis County residents old enough to vote in 2021
Of the 200,311 citizens living in St. Louis County in 2021, 80.9% were old enough to vote, equating to 162,031 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.
Traverse County 2nd largest nursing home as of Q4 2023: Browns Valley Health Center
Browns Valley Health Center, the second largest nursing home in Traverse County, aided an average of 29.6 residents per day during the fourth quarter of 2023.

CITY OF BUFFALO LAKE: The City of Buffalo Streets Maintenance Department is planning to repair potholes throughout the city the week of March 13th - 17th, weather permitting.
Consistent winter weather has delayed the streets department in working on many of the potholes recently.

The City of Moorhead is providing grants of up to $500 to start or operate a community garden on private land within the City of Moorhead. (City-owned property is not available for this program.)

CITY OF MOORHEAD: Effective immediately, City of Moorhead residents should stop putting glass into blue recycling bins.
Why the change? According to Minnkota Recycling – which handles the City of Moorhead’s recycling after it is collected – glass has become too expensive to recycle, creates safety issues in the recycling process, and contaminates the recycling stream.
